LifeStar Insurance are currently seeking an Operations Officer to join the Premium Management team. The duties are related to servicing of policies and customers, including allocation and reconciliation of payments. Handling of customers and intermediaries’ queries in a professional manner. Processing customer requests and updating customers’ records.
Job details:
LifeStar Insurance are currently seeking an Operations Officer within the Premium Management team. The position is responsible to undertake a range of tasks within the premium management department related to premium collection and reconciliation to ensure continuation of life insurance cover.
Main Responsibilities:
- Process of bank accounts
- Process and checking of Endorsements
- Upload and reconciliation of payments
- Assist in the monitoring of arrears
- Process of payment refunds
- Issuing of bill notices and reminders
- Handling clients’ and brokers’ queries
- Liaise between respective departments to make sure that processes are done in a timely manner
- Ensure all customer information is correct
- Inform clients of overdue payments and amount currently owed
- Updating and maintaining databases
Knowledge / Skills / Qualifications:
- Experience in a similar role is preferable however on-the-job training will be provided
- Attention to detail and excellent communication skills
- A positive attitude and a strong customer orientation
- A team worker also capable of working with minimum supervision
- Fluency of written and spoken English language
