Junior Finance Officer
Job Description
Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, the Junior Finance Officer will play an important role within the Finance team.
This position has primary responsibilities, such as:
- Debtors’ control
- Monthly reconciliation of bank accounts
- Preparation of bank deposits
- Issue of reports and statements
- Reconciliations of vendor statements
- Reconciliations of premiums received
- Posting in proprietary systems
- Perform other Finance general duties as assigned
The successful candidate must have:
- Minimum A’ level or AAT diploma in Accountancy
- Ability to communicate effectively and possess customer-handling skills
- Be prepared to work under pressure in order to meet deadlines
- At least 6 months experience in a similar role
- Exceptional attention to detail
- A demonstrated commitment to high professional ethical standards
- An ability to look at situations from several points of view and able to juggle multiple tasks with deftness
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Computer skills and proficient in excel, word and outlook
