Life Operations - Junior Underwriter
The position is responsible to undertake a range of functions to ensure the smooth running of the Life Insurance Department. Functions may include the processing of applications for insurance policies, , handling of clients’ queries, updating and maintaining databases and other reasonable duties and responsibilities within the overall function.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Processing insurance transactions whilst providing excellent customer service to all stakeholders
- Assisting in the preparation of reports and statements
- Reviewing all documentation, identifying missing documents and inputting applications
- Processing new business, assessing applications and issuing policies
- Handling clients’ and brokers’ queries
- Updating and maintaining databases, and
- Other reasonable duties and responsibilities within the overall function, which may be assigned from time to time.

- Work experience in a health / customer care-related position

- Proficient in IT
- ‘O’ level in Biology
